At four years old, I received my first camera: a Polaroid. Now, you may think I was a little too young, and my dad may have questioned his decision when I went through my first pack of photo paper rather quickly! But it truly sparked my passion and curiosity for photography.

My father was an avid photographer himself. For him, it was a hobby that allowed him to preserve countless memories of what mattered most to him, many of them framed on his walls with me appearing from every possible angle. He always encouraged my curiosity, letting me explore his professional cameras while teaching me the techniques and patience behind each image. Those early experiences became an important part of the path that led me to where I am today.

Growing up, my mother kept a large collection of National Geographic magazines. I spent hours studying the photographs, drawn to their ability to preserve not only what a place or person looked like, but something deeper. Through those pages, I could watch life unfold in its rawest and most honest forms.

When my mother asked what I wanted to be when I grew up, my exact answer was:

“I want to be featured in their magazine!”

Photography became the way I learned to observe the world. It gave me a language for the things that were difficult to explain and taught me to notice details that might otherwise go unseen. My education was also deeply immersed in fine art, continually feeding my creativity and shaping the way I see.

My camera became my paintbrush, and life became my canvas. I’ve always aimed to create art, whether through beauty, emotion, or the raw, candid moments life offers us.

Over the past decade, I’ve worked as a marketing photographer and creative consultant, with work featured in publications including Mexican Style by Assouline, Revista Quién, and ¡HOLA!

Today, my work brings together that professional experience with the kind of photography I’ve always been most drawn to: honest, human imagery that holds both beauty and feeling.

I photograph people as they are, not as they think they need to perform for the camera. I’ll guide you when you need it, but I’m always watching for what happens beyond the direction.

I believe the most lasting photographs do more than show us what happened. They bring us back to how it felt.
